Today's Maths' Week challenge is to called "Time to Talk". ⏲
We would like you to find out about time. You could look for clocks in your house, maybe on your wall or on your cooker. Do all the clocks look the same?
You could have a chat about time too. What time do you have your dinner? What time do you go to bed? Do you go to a dance class or football training? What time does it start and finish? What days do you go training?
Maybe you have a calendar up somewhere in your house. Have you marked in special occasions? When is it your birthday? When is your Granny's birthday? How many days until we go Trick or Treating for Halloween? There's lots of exploring and chat we can do about time.
As a last challenge, maybe you could use a timer on a phone to complete a challenge. For example, how long does it take to clean away your toys, get ready for bed? Do 10 squats! What other activities could you time? Have fun 🤩
