School Preparations for a Safe Return to School
Dear Parent / Guardian,
We have been busy preparing for the safe return to school for our pupils, staff and community in partnership with the Senior School with reference to the guidelines as per the Department of Education and Skills publications for schools published in late July 2020.
- Reopening Our Schools – The Roadmap for the Full Return to School
- Covid-19 Response Plan for the safe and sustainable reopening of Primary and Special Schools
The school staff and Board of Management have drafted a plan for the school and campus with the health, well-being and safety of all of our children and staff as the primary considerations in operational arrangements
We look forward to a safe, full-time return this Tuesday 1st of September.
In the last update, we detailed school start and finish times as well as arrival to campus and departure from campus procedures. You can revisit these guidelines in the attached Back to School Update 1.
In today's update- Back to School Update 2, we detail a number of other procedures and practice that we are putting in place in order to ensure a safe return to school from details of school lunches to uniforms, schoolbags to books.
Please visit our website daily for ongoing updates.
Yours sincerely,
Jane O'Connell
Principal
