Hello from Mrs. Maye
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to check in with the best 2nd class in the whole of Dublin 15 and see how you’re all doing. I hope that you and your families are all safe and well and keeping busy.
I know it must feel very strange being indoors a lot at this time. Of course you’re missing your friends and all the fun activities you love doing outside of school. However, we know that by washing our hands regularly, by keeping our distance and by staying at home we can keep everyone in our Community safe. I know it’s hard, but I know you can do this.
I am really missing you all very much and thinking about you all the time. I miss seeing your lovely faces every day and miss all the fun we have together in class. I hope you’ve been able to help out at home by doing some chores to help mom or dad. I know they’d really appreciate that and I know that you’re all well able. It’s important to help each other and be kind to each other at this time.
I wonder if you’ve had a chance to look at the school website and all the activities on the 2nd class page? I’m sure you’ll find something fun to try. There’s also a daily challenge which I know you’d love. Why not give it a go? Also, “The School Hub” programme on RTE2 every morning at 11am is very good. Check it out for yourselves. It would be really great if you could continue with your reading at home as much as possible and could try to do some writing every day. I will be especially looking forward to hearing all your news, reading all your stories and seeing all your artwork when we get back to school. So don’t throw anything away!!!
Easter is almost here guys!!! I’m sure the Easter bunny will be visiting you. Hopefully there will be lots of chocolate treats for you to enjoy. I’m hoping for a big crunchie egg!!! In the meantime, I just wanted to wish all the beautiful girls in my class; Bianca, Chimwemwe, Indiyana, Kamelya, Lexi, Maya, Ruby and Sadie and all the handsome boys; Anthony, Armani, Brandon, Clayton, Elijah, Lennon, Marek and Ryan a very, very happy and safe Easter and to all your families also. Look after yourselves and each other.
Bye for now,
Love Mrs. Maye.
